The day started a little rough because the US courthouse here had a bomb threat at 2:00 PM and my case was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but that was quickly resolved and we all got in the building fine (I was already there waiting!).

Sooooo relived it is done!! No PACER for me thanks. The attorney said expect my discharge in 75 days or so (courts are a little backed up here).

    Horray!

Hope yours went smoothly too, tnsl!
Bomb threat? I just checked the Strib website, and no mention of it. Is it that common that it isn't news?

Glad to hear it went well! We will be in that same room on Nov. 6th.

      341 @ 10/14 @ 3pm......Yicks

I have been on this site reading and re-reading as much as I can before my 341. It is tomorrow, and I am so nervous. I am praying I can come back here and say it went well too. I am glad to see others have had their 341 and it turned out great.....whew.

        341 went well?? today

Well, yes and no. Problem is that I have a recreational vehicle that is considered a TOY and it should be non-exempt, right? Well, the bank didn't object but showed up today to discuss my intent for the trailer. My lawyer told the lawyer representing the bank that it is NOT considered and TOY since we live in it as our second residence and since my spouse is disabled and has monthly income (not included in means test) that we are entitled to reaffirm the trailer for those special reasons. Also, the bank showed up for our house and wanted to know if we are reaffirming house/second mortgage as well. We said yes to that too. Our lawyer is awesome, and the Trustee is so very kind to my spouse today too. We left after about 10 minutes of the 5 of us at the courtroom table (others watching in the pews). Our lawyer said we have to stop in to sign reaffirmation papers, and he has until the 23rd to get the mortgage papers to the bank and trustee, as he forgot to bring them along today.
All in all, we were scared to death, and when we saw the two other people join us at the table, it really sent us for a loop. My face got really red, and I thought my spouse was going to croke. No lie, but we made it.
I will keep you posted if you would like to know the outcome. I guess I can now say I just joined the 60 day club, hey!!

Yes, but the bank for the house just wanted to check in to see if we were going to actually reaffirm, and the bank for the trailer said since it was usually considered a TOY that they had to send the attorney for them to find out how we fell into the special catagory to keep the trailer. There were no objections at all up to the 341 either......
My lawyer is on top of it for us, and we would be sunk with an inexperienced one for sure.
Thank you for your reply by the way. I have been visiting the bk forum since Sept. and it sure helps to read how others are fairing too. Good luck to you too.

To Liz417......The lawyer had till 10/23 to get the raff's to the Trustee, and he made it.
The 341 was continued only for that purpose. I looked on Pacer and in status it says 341 on 10/14 was terminated. The continuation of 341 was set for 10/23, and it doesn't say concluded or terminated or safisfied yet.

Does the 30 day time for objections to exemptions start on 10/14, or 10/23?

No report from the Trustee either.

                        No UST involvement.

All reaff's are in on Pacer though.

It is very quiet right now.......What do you think?
