    Any experience with certain creditors?

    Anyone have any experience with Lowes or Chase showing up regarding charges prior to filing?

    Unless it's a major amount, they most likely (My guess) won't show.

      It was around $5000..... and about half was living- utilities, gas and food.

        As in all situations, things are taken into account. Now, what with the new laws, the "Appearence" of abuse is very great and can lead to dismissal, or demand from trustee to "Re-pay" that amount.

        A lawyer is always your best counsel.

            It wasn't a cash advance- it was multiple purchases over the 60 days prior to me filing. I really had never even considered BK until I heard about the deadline and how out of control things had gotten. The hurricanes really put me us in a bad light really quick.
