    Can spouse come to 341?

I filed Chapter 7 singly i.e. not jointly with my spouse (Nevada is a community property state). I filed pro se and my 341 is coming up this Thursday.

I would like my spouse to be next to me during the 341 meeting both for moral support and to prompt me just in case my mind goes blank due to nerves. Will the trustee allow this, considering my spouse is not an attorney?

if you are not disabled in any way then no other person can help you answer.

your spouse or anyone can go and sit in the back. its open to the public.

go there weeks before your actual meeting to see how it is.
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

My son went with me and sat right beside me through the whole thing

Thanks for the replies. We'll start off together and see if anyone objects. I know that in the heat of the moment I may forget something and I may just ask the trustee "if I could ask my wife on account of my badly jangled nerves?"

If he says no, then so be it.
