Reaffirmation question....

I had my 341 today and of course my attorney had a fill-in I had never met. Anyone it was just over and Ford was not there with my reaffirmation agreement for my car. I was originally told and thought to believe it had to be done today / by today. The attorney told me Ford would call my attorney to be done later- is that true?

Don't depend on your attorney to do this, keep on top of it with him...

You have to reaffirm or redeem BEFORE DISCHARGE...

Your right, this is usually done at the 341 meeting... you should have already received papers in the mail from Ford.
If you receive no response in 2 weeks contact the auto place yourself and state your intentions.

Also check your petition to make sure your attorney marked "reaffirm" on the auto.

Those papers must be signed before discharge....
