    Adding creditor after 341 meeting?

I had my 341 meeting a couple weeks ago. I just got hit with 2 creditors that I forgot about and that weren't on my credit report. I talked to my attorney and he said that there is nothing he can do at this point. He said to talk to the creditors and let them know I filed bk and give them my case file. I've talked to several people and they said you can still add creditors up until discharge.

I'm in Arizona, what if any are my options? Can I still add the creditors? Will giving the creditors my bk case# without having them on the actual filing forms be enough? Any suggestions?

Are you a no asset case? In nearly all districts, even if you didn't list the creditor until after your 341, in a no-asset Ch 7 case ALL debts are discharged (assuming these additional creditors are considered to be dischargeable under the BK code). There is plenty of case law out there that supports this

I would just follow the advice of your attorney
    Filed Ch 7 - 07/10/08
    341 Meeting - 08/13/08
    DISCHARGED! - 10/15/08
    CLOSED - 10/20/08

I agree all dischargeable debts that are incurred before the filing date are discharged even if they aren't listed. But they can also be added still.

How much are the debts for? Maybe your lawyer doesn't think it's worth the extra expense of adding them.
4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next

      7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!
