    Discharged!!!!

    It's been a long road but as of today I am officially Discharged!

    YAY!!!

    I am very thankful for all the wonderful advice and support I received from the caring people on this forum. For those of you who are just getting started or waiting on your discharge, I wish you the best, Life is good!!!

      4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
      5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
      7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
      7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!

                The UST got involved in my case because I'm self employed and I pay my own taxes rather than have withholding. They wanted a lot of detail about business income/expenses and how I determined my estimated quarterly tax amounts. I answered all their questions and never heard from them again.

                I don't know how they will view your school payment but I'm guessing it won't be an issue. The school isn't a true "creditor", it's more of an expense.
