Well, it's here. I've got all the paperwork, back taxes, everything I was told to have ready. I'm worried I will freeze and not beable to talk. I am grateful to everyone who wrote in about their 341's today! I'm worried about my car, my only asset of any value. It is reaffirmed. A 1999 Miata with some body scuff, a ripped/sewn top and 75K miles. I wasn't worried until I went to get an oil change Friday, and they charged me $22.00 for an air filter because it was a "sportscar!" Now I'm worried. I am paying on it still and have reaffirmed it. I am taking Blue Book figures with me: $5500 with the damages, and I am owing close to $3600. If I have to walk home from my meeting I'll be writing to tell you about it on Wednesday!

Just take a deep breath and be calm. I was terrified in the days leading up to my 341, but the day of the actual meeting, I was really calm. Ok, I was medicated, so that helped, lol.
To be honest, when I got to the courthouse and sat in on a few of the meetings, I knew it wasn't going to be bad at all. And it wasn't. Just be honest in your answers, and cooperate with the Trustee.
Good luck tomorrow. We'll be waiting to hear how it went!Amy M.

341 Finished
Thanks for your comments, Alice0427. I took that deep breath. I was the only Pro Se filer in my time slot. The Trustee asked me the usual questions I've seen posted here. He made it clear that his questions were specific to PRIOR to my Oct 5 filing date. I sailed right through. I looked around the room, at the floor, at his coffee mug, out the window - everywhere but my scared face - and that was about it. I listened to about eight cases before mine, and I noticed that cars that were owned outright were scrutinized. He really went over the blue book value. One attorney walked his client out the door and then returned with a pitch to the Trustee of "250/mo for the next six months for the cars." I'm paying on mine still and it never came up ('99 Miata). I must be really really broke - just the basic eight for me!! (YIPEEE). Thank you everybody, and those who wrote back to me, for being there through this mess!

Sounds like you will be fine now.....
Just wait out the 60 days for discharge.
Your case sounded like a simple Chapter 7 with no complications.
Be looking for that discharge in 60 days.
