Yahoo - No Distribution of Assets

OK, so I logged onto Pacer for the 3rd time today, not really expecting there to be anything new, but just had to check and found this:

Meeting of Creditors Held - TRUSTEE'S Report of No Distribution. Trustee of this estate reports that the trustee has neither received any property nor paid any money on account of this estate; that the trustee has made diligent inquiry into the financial affairs of the debtor(s) and the location of the property belonging to the estate; and that there is no property available for distribution from the estate over and above that exempted by law. Pursuant to FRBP 5009, the trustee certifies that the estate of the debtor(s) has been fully administered. Trustee requests to be discharged from any further duties as trustee. (Esposito, Joseph) (Entered: 11/29/2005)

I am so freakin' excited I am shaking! I know the trustee was going to look at the value of our house and possibly send someone out to look at it because I had a mistake on my paperwork. But, obviously he looked at the public records, found its really not worth anything to him, and I'm all golden.

Thanks everyone for your support through this. Now I just wait for my 60 days to be over. Whew!!

Hang in there, you are now a member of the 60 day club!!!

Be patient, wait it out.... and hopefully nothing else will change in the process...

You'll be a camper when you see that "discharge" on pacer or get it in the mail.

        Not much longer,

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

After reading several posts...do I still need to wory about 2006 tax return? It is mostly an Earned Income Credit. They did ask us about last years , we answered honestly and stated the amount of actual return and the EIC. He moved right away from it. was very nice and wished us he best of luck on our future.

Can I look forward to the tax return we may get in 2006.....or should I plan not to have it?
