As far as I can tell it's some online electronic service people can sign up for that links in with the state of the case from the court's point of view. They charge for at least certain inquiries. My impression is that it's only really needed for attorneys and the impatient! -

VCIS seems to work fine for me
When I've felt impatient, I've just called up VCIS. From what I can tell, it has the same info as PACER. Is there ever a reason you'd need to use PACER instead of VCIS?Originally posted by mtbc View PostComment
