I am filing tomorrow and have a last minute question. On Form B8, does anyone have information what happens if I put 'Retained' for the residence property, and check 'other' with a statement- reaffirm with loan modification? I am upside down by 120K on the house, and would walk away if a Loan Modification did not reflect a reduction in principle by at least this amount.
If I check 'Surrender', when would the bank be able to get us out?
