Don't worry about me-you know I can argue a case when I have something to say!

Lightning is used to getting a negative reaction out of people-he/she counts on it. He/she doesn't seem able to handle a simple debate though.

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Well, I guess I should defend myself although Staci has done a pretty good job of that for me.

I can't sit and post my life story or every situation that got me to where we are. You can't possibly judge anyone without knowing what's going on, and just get a few financial facts.

I said "ouch" because yes our car payment is big, it's our family vehicle (dh has company truck), and it IS a trailblazer, but it's only $10 more a month than what we were paying for a ford focus. DH had bad credit, I had none, so in turn we got a HIGH interest rate. It's not that we are driving around in a Lexus, we got a car to fit a family of 5 in with not so good credit.

As far as my WAH job goes, there is NO way I could afford daycare, gas, etc, as Staci explained. I was just a SAH mom, and when money got tight, I was fortunate enough to find a WAH job. It does NOT pay a huge amount, but it is a job, and I manage to work 5 hours a day WITH a 4 year old, 2 year old, and almost 7 month old. It's no easy task, but I do it because we do need the money. I'm sorry that I don't fit everyone standards, but if I work in the home or out of the home, I'm not just laying around and charging my life away...it's not how it happened, and again, i won't tell my life story.

I am very frugal as far as everyday things go. I cut coupons,I make my own baby food, I make my own laundry detergent, we never go out to eat...those are just the small things i skimp on.

Anyway, thanks for all of the kind responses. I wish i were rich with a great white collar career, but that's not the boat I am in and this is what I am dealing with now.

            Mommyto3-

You're me, 3 years ago... My kids are 7, 5, and recently turned 4. I think that is why I stepped in!

You've withstood Lightning. I think you've graduated to the sophomore class already.
