You have got to be kidding.

There's a big difference between "celebrating life" and thinking a monetary inheritance is a "blessing".

You're sick, Staci. I don't want anything to do with you. Being happy that someone died and left you money is one of the most reprehensible things a human being can do.

The OP never said she was glad that someone died. (You insinuated that.) The death and the inheritance are 2 separate facts. Yes, one leads to the other. But even if the OP was not listed in the will, the death would still stand.

A death is a sad thing. But its also part of life. (Life doesn't really have a surprise ending, you know.) Inheriting money, at a time when you really need it, IS a blessing. If you think that giving the money to charity will bring back the life-you are mistaken.

Perhaps you're just miffed that someone can objectively argue against your comments, and it isn't based on emotion and jumping to conclusions.

Frankly, I suspect Lighting is sitting in his room, stomping his little feet mad that HE didn't have someone love him enough to leave him some cash...If he'd quit being the snide (Bleep) he's been all this time (And hasn't changed since last we saw of him) then he cannot expect anything in the future...

Except us laughing at him and his postings.

Once again, Genenco, you don't have a clue.

That happens quite often in your life, doesn't it? I mean, how dare the world demand that you pay for the car you keep hidden?

If you manage to actually qualify for bankruptcy, you'll probably make your trustee your Secret Santa recipient.

Laugh all you want, but I'm not the one whining and complaining to a trustee, a lawyer, or any poor sucker/relative/friend you've screwed over.

Be sure to enclose the subpoena in a Christmas card!

Well, shocker Lightning, you did read my post wrong. I am willing to settle my debts, I would prefer to pay the actual amount of debts, rather than the outrageous fees and penalties they add so insanely. I just want to settle this and put the entire case behind me and I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into how much longer this will take.

My atty did finally return my call late today. Of course when we got to the point in the conversation where I specifically asked him what the next step would be and what the time frame was, he dropped my call. When I called him back I got his VM again. UGH!

Staci has taken up for you, lightening and tried to keep the peace with your nasty remarks.
You always preach about insurance, do you have a life insurance policy? Well I do, it is for my family. I pay the premium gladly. I have never received benefit so to speak from someone's death. I don't want anybody's money if they have to die for me to get it either, but I pay the premium so that I can leave the money for my family's use.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

What is your source? I don't think that will work!

if DH says yes then you are go to go! simple logic.
