    Guys- This is awesome as I am now only waiting for the case to be closed. I never thought the day would arrive and its almost here. I will now go clean up the only mistake on my cc report in which chases states that I was 60 days late and the charged off the debt. I was never late and its bankruptcy not a charge off. This is so sweet!

    When Does It Close

    My Case Shows Discharge Order Granted But Not Closed. The Other Cases On The Same Day Are Closed. Is There A Problem Because My Case Is Not Closed And Does It Matter? Others Show Closed Yesterday But Not Mine.

      Did the trustee ask about your tax refund? If so, that might be why it remains open. It might also just be a clerical issue.
      Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research.         I will be owing the goverment 3500 dollars so no tax refund is coming.

          If you just filed on 12/12/05 HOW CAN YOU BE DISCHARGED ALREADY.....

          Have you attended a 341 Meeting????? This usually happens 30-45 days after filing.

          Then discharge comes 60 days after the 341 meeting!!

          Are you mis-understanding the posting on pacer?

          Give me some more facts,

            I think he meant the 'awaiting discharge' was filed on 12-12.

              Many cases are not closed "right away" - the trustee often drags his feet so to speak closing cases. And then he also knows he can reopen your case for up to one year after it is closed.

              Be patient - I'm sure he will close it soon....

                  Patience, you case has only been discharged for 4 days...... I'm sure they will follow shortly with "case closed".

                    Thanks Everyone. My Case Was Closed Yesterday And Everything Is Done. I Get A New Start On Life And Hopefully For The Better This Time. Yes. I Appreciate Everyones Advice To All My Dumb Questions And Wish All The Best Of Luck!
