I was curious if anyone knows what to do when someone gives you money for Xmas just before you actually file CH7?

Keep documentation of how its spent, and probably best to spend on needed items. Check w/ your attorney to make certain!Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision. -
spend it on utility bills, get new brakes for your car, repair the sprinkler system, get better insurance, buy life insurance. if there is none left then you wont have to list it.

The beautiful thing about not having credit cards anymore is thinking of things you need as opposed to thing you want.
