well, other then staci, most people that reach their date of discharge that hear nothing or see nothing on pacer within a max of 10 days, more like 3 business days (so maybe 5 total), means that you are probably done.

remeber however that that isnt a guarantee. you aint really done until you see it saying discharged. or get your papers in the mail.

im sure you wont have any problems. hang in there!

I called the clerk's office this morning to ask about my case/discharge and was told I should get my discharge next week.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I hadn't thought of that... Now I have to watch out for BkFiler raiding my mailbox!

As long as they enter it, I don't care too much when I get the paper in the mail, LOL! I would really like this to be over in 2005!

What clerk office did you call? Does the same clerk apply for Chapter 13 individuals? I myself have been checking pacer and there is nothing. I took Bkfiler adivce and just check the date to see if there is a different one. Don't want to run up a bill. I checked www.13datacenter.com and they stated that my case; closed 1/9/2006. Does that mean I will get my discharge afterwards? Just curious. Thanks for all replies.

www.bankruptcydata.com has a link on the left hand side of the page for the various district BK offices. You'll want to call the one where you filed.

Most states have several districts, like GA has Northern, Middle, and Southern. Within each district, there are several offices. I called the one where my paperwork was filed at, and where I had to go for my 341. (The info on my office includes what counties it serves, I assume that info is listed for all.)

if that is your expected discharge date then that is 'about' when you will get a discharge if it happens. of course it takes time to enter it. cuz everyone is playing around in the office and think we all go on with our lives, NOT!

So Staci, keep an eye out for a little stick figure with red eyes puppy-guarding your mail box. LOL !

Our discharge came a week early. Pacer said we would be discharged 11/9/05. We were discharged 11/1/05. Go figure, sure screwed up our 722 redemption financing!
