    confused over preferential payments

I didn't want to hijack other threads but here goes...

Two mortgages, two credit cards, two cars. We are letting the house go, including the credit cards but we plan on keeping both cars.

We haven't made payments on the mortgages or CCs since mid-November but are current on the cars.

Is there a problem with this?

I am pretty sure that payments to secured creditors are not considered preferential payments.
    Stopped Payings CC's: 8/14/2009 | Retained Attorney: 9/23/2009 | Filed CH 7: 12/7/2009 | 341 Meeting: 1/21/2010 - Complete | Discharged: 4/9/2010

Geez, I don't know what I was thinking. I just turned 40 and I'm already loosing my mind.

      Thanks for the reply!

You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under
