Has anyone else thought about the numbers?....

I had to file CH7 in October and had my 341 on 11/30 and all SEEMS to have went well.
I have learned SOOOO much from this and a couple other forums.
Things that I would have never thought to ask my attorney I found out about on here.
And maybe the biggest benefit of this forum is that it let me know that I'm not alone and helped me through the more stressful times.
I just find it amazing when you look at the number of times a post has been viewed compared to how many BK's have been filed this year.
It really seems that most people who file must not come to or have access to these groups.
I couldn't imagine having gone it alone.

Yeah it is too bad BK attorneys do not make these forums known to their clientele. I guess they figure they might lose business or something? Course nothing to stop *us* from posting fliers in legal aid clinics, public info boards, etc. right?

I don't think it even occurs to most attorneys that people should do their own research. The attorney we consulted w/ was floored that I was asking questions at all! I guess most of their clients were like sheep being led into a lion's den. (We didn't retain him-that is why we filed pro se.)

I did NOT KNOW about this forum UNTIL after I had filed BK and all the damage in my case had already taken place. Then I lucked-up and discovered this forum.

It has been my life-line, my source of much needed support and information for 18 months...

Don't know if I would have made it thru bankruptcy without the help and support of everyone on this forum!!

The moral support I received from this forum was TREMENDOUS..... The suggestions and options offered were extremely helpful...... Everyone listened to my griping and whining till I got it out of my system......
