Granted, the debts those debts cannot be discharged, I planned on doing a 13 afterwards to take care of them.

Any debt that is not dischargable will remain after discharge, but would not generally affect yoru ability to file Chapter 7. That will depend on the means test and whether you've filed recently, etc. The mortgage arrears are dischargable, but you do have the option to reaffirm on that debt (not recommended!)

Right, I'd expect it not to be a problem. Payments on my back taxes were a welcome means by which I could reduce my Schedule J DMI!
