It was taken from the case docket via PACER.Comment

Yeah, I'm pro se and it wasn't mailed to me. I check PACER anyway to make sure that the documents I file get properly recorded.Comment

is pacer a free public website? or do you have to pay money to use it??Comment

It's public -- http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/ -- they charge you 8c per page of query results. If you're sparing in your usage, just keeping an occasional eye on your own case, your bills will be tiny; I'm still up to less than $5 for the past quarter. I've heard that some courts let you go in person and use computer terminals there to use PACER for free (though still charging for printouts).Comment
