    Interesting tid-bit

So I finally got around to filing my paperwork today in Tampa FL. I mentioned to the clerk that I would have liked to have filed weeks ago so that my 341 would be sooner. She told me that if I would have filed on October 18th, my 341 would be on january 31st, but since I filed today, my 341 is on, get this, January 31st. LOL. Shows how few people have actually filed since the law change. Somehow they are managing to cram 2 1/2 months of filers into a single day.

They probably have a couple of trustees that are only working with only new filings. Having a couple that only go by the new laws seems reasonable, make sure they are well versed in the new laws and in time bring the rest up to speed.

Congrats on getting the process started. Your ~90 day road has begun.

I'm in Tampa and my attorney filed electronically on Oct 16 the last day under the old law. My attorney told me that my 341 probably wouldn't be until Jan or Feb so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be Nov 30. They were holding the 341's in extra rooms to accommodate all the people.

If they crammed in all the old filers back in Nov does that mean the trustees get a holiday vacation for the months of Dec & Jan?

Well if you go on Pacer, you can see that old filers are still having their 341s. I believe right up until the end of January

It all depends on the district...

I managed to get in under the old laws. The first notice I got said my 341 was going to be in May 2006. Apparently someone wasn't happy with that, because I got a 2nd notice and it was changed to 12/23/05, and went off without a hitch.

The original poster filed in Tampa and I also filed in Tampa . Sorry if this sounds dumb, but can they have more than one district in the same city?

P.S. Can I be in the 60 day club? I had my 341 on Nov 30!
