New car loan before close but after discharge?

My ch 7 case was discharged last month. I gave back my car a couple weeks ago (the payment was very high). Is it ok for me to go get a used car (with a car loan) before the case closes or do I need to ask for the trustee's permission first?

You only need the trustees permission if your case is a chapter 13. As long as your chapter 7 has been discharged, you're perfectly fine.
