well it depends on how you want to handle it. there are different trains of thought on trying to geet accounts removed or just getting everyhting to say IIBK (included in BK).
basically, most wait until after discharge.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

I am just concerned that if I deny acct it will effect the bankruptcy or may not show up as under bankruptcy again .. right now they say discharged in bank 7 or petion for chapter 7... but if I deny these accts now what do you think may happen if anything?DISCHARGED Case CLOSED = 01/03/2006

anything can happen. only the truth can be reported. that truth you already know and can untimately get reported. in teh meantime if you play around to see what you get then you cant control it.
most likey (i have to add this term for saftey reasons), denying the account wont bother your bk.
also, when you deny an account you dont want to outright deny it. you can, but most likey wont (term again) get sued and fined for that fraud. you want to dispute it as not yours because the information is wrong, such as a name, number, amount, format, etc.
go to creditboard dot com and see what they have for you.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

well, its all bad. its hard to decide whats the worse of two evils. remeber that the first goal might be to get it removed. if it doesnt go your way then make it show up as IIBK with $0 balance. read that site and you will learn a great deal.Im not an attorney or a trustee. In reality, what is on your report has no significance with the bankruptcy court. How it is reported is not indicative of what you owe. Afterall-almost anyone who has paid an account after it went bad can testify to the fact that it will often still report that you owe it! My take on that is creditors use your credit report against you, but once they are done with you-your credit report is no longer a concern to them. In other words, they are more likely to report the bad than update once you've paid.
There is no right or wrong-if you're not going to be doing anything major anytime soon, then there is no rush to work on your credit report. Putting more time & effort into researching the BK process and keeping your attorney on the ball makes sense. On the other hand, if you have nothing better to do and/or you are making plans for a house, etc. then starting sooner won't hurt. Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Yes i am needing to do a refi on my house beacuse I have a adjustable that can up up to 10.5 this Oct from 7.5 .. So I am concerned.. That is why I am trying to be on the ball with all this. Plus depending on how my credit score looks after I get my discharge date , I may consider selling my house by then and buying in another state . But I am scared to sell beacuse what if I cannot get another mortgage by then... thanks for your info... It
all helps...DISCHARGED Case CLOSED = 01/03/2006

Take it one step at a time. My recommendations for getting started on the cleanup-get a papercopy of each of your credit reports (or print out an online copy). If you do the online, though, get it either thru Annualcreditreport.com or thru each of the bureaus directly to make sure you have a direct copy. (They should come with a reference #, and that may be necessary when you start disputing.)
You'll want to analyze to see what IS reporting wrong. Anything that is wrong, you can address w/ the bureaus. Write to the, listing the items that are mistakes, and keep records of what you dispute and when. They should respond with an updated copy. Repeat as needed... It may not all be handled on the first try. Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research.
