    Presumption does not arise

I took the means test calculation form and it says at the top "The presumption does not arise" what does that mean?

Assuming you are over-median and took an online means test, this insinuates that the values that you used fell within the allowable expenses on the means test to qualify for a chapter 7 bankruptcy. This also means that you do not have a Disposable Monthly Income that would force you in to a chapter 13 repayment plan. Are you filing Pro Se? What is your DMI? If it is close to the threshold, it would probably be beneficial for you to consult with an attorney.

The presumption of abuse does not arise. You passed the means test.
