I have a friend who just filed bankruptcy in April. There meeting of creditors is in two weeks. She told me that she just filed for divorce last week. Its an uncontested divorce, and they split assets and liabilities in the middle.
What effect would this have regarding their bankruptcy? Both of them filed jointly and would want to still proceed with their bankruptcy. Do they have to do anything?
