I read a lot here but don't post much, so I'll make this quick. Job loss 2008, income reduction. Wife and I wheezed along as long as possible, then decided no more. Walked away from underwater mortgage, quit paying cards, filed in January, 341 early March, discharged on 5/4/2010. Had a small piece of vacant property that made us an asset case, so still not closed and haven't heard anything about that since the 341. Attorney said he hasnt either and wil let us know when he does. Not really concerned about it one way or the other went into this knowing that I might not be able to keep it. Well thats it. Thanks to all for all the good info I have found here.
