    Foreclosure after closing question...

Our BK is closed and there was a foreclosure suit filed prior to the BK. We just got papers from the company requesting to lift the stay.

Do they actually have to do all that to foreclose? We volunteered the property under the Ch. 7, why do they need all the additional court proceedings?

I think I figured it out. Normal foreclosure proceedings. I just can't understand why they have to go through the courts for something I surrendered in another case.

    Waste of time I guess.
