What really happens in FL when they take your asset (car)?

Ditto on the copyright,

Mail yourself a copy of everything, but don't open it..... keep it sealed. That way if you ever had to appear in court you have sealed documents as proof with postage stamped on them.

I have copyright on my poetry and have had for years......

Also you can apply in DC for copyright papers for anything you write or create.

Well I definately wouldn't buy a car in your name BEFORE the discharge happens. Afterwards you can do whatever you want . Florida has good homestead exemptions but damn their vehicle exemption sucks!

You are not supposed to get credit, buy big ticket items while in bankruptcy, without the approval of the Trustee. Remember he is in charge of your life till the discharge takes place.

Let him find out you went and bought a car - and there will be hell to pay..... they can dismiss you case, etc....

I'm sure your attorney told you of this - if not - you got the wrong attorney..............
