discharge day vs. last day file objections?

    Hi,

Just had my 341 which was uneventful, no asset, under median, busy court.

I checked PACER and saw the no distribution notice from the Trustee,
and that the last day to file objections is July 1st.

Does that mean my discharge is right after that? I thought it took 60 days, but this would be about 31 days.

An easy question here and I appreciate it if you could pick it off!

The 60 days runs from the first scheduled date for the 341, so if it was originally scheduled for May 3 and rescheduled for June 2, the 60 days would still run from May 3.

my question is, what is the relationship between:

      A. the last day to file objections

      and

      B. the date of discharge

In my case the last day for objections is 30 days after the 341. Does that mean I might get a discharge after 30 days and change, or will I still have to wait 60?

Please answer only if you know what is the relation between A. and B.

      thanks!

Assuming no objections, the discharge will come shortly after the deadline. It's just that in your case, it happens to be a shorter interval after the 341 than usual.

so creditors are not going to get 60 days? That seems strange, but I dont know what the origin of this 60 day thing is. If it's one sides right as stipulated by law then I dont see how they can waive it. But it's fine with me!

          thanks,
