Lawyer says he'd file in a few days but that was since Wednesday. Receptionist says they need permission from him to file and they haven't heard anything. He's out next week and I want to file ASAP! I've already waited 3 months. Can I just go in and take the paperwork and do it myself? Yes I've already called the lawyer and emailed with no response. Strange how once you pay them the full amount they ignore you. Check pacer like 50 times and nada.

I would suggest you go to your lawyer's office directly and speak to the lawyer about filing your petition especially if you have paid in full. I would be he wasn't in yesterday or today and he's out next week! I don't see why I can't tell them to file when it's my money. I can understand if they do all filings on a certain day but that's not what I was told. When I asked they said it should be done before Friday. hello it's Saturday.... I understand your impatience, but in hindsight, this little spat will not even be a blip in your memory.
Maybe the attorney does a final review and hasn't done it yet. I would not be overly concerned.Comment
