So if I reduce my expenses substantially, do I have to advise the Trustee of these changes? I have had my 341. I know when you list expenses on the Schedules, you are supposed to list those that you expect to continue. But due to my change in income, I need to reduce expenses. Just wasn't sure if Trustee would need to know. Thanks all.

No. Your financial info that you submitted was a snapshot of the day you filed. You are past your 341. No need to amend any of your documents.Originally posted by ApresMoi View PostSo if I reduce my expenses substantially, do I have to advise the Trustee of these changes? I have had my 341. I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

Hey thanks. The law firm said if I have a change in income or expenses, to let them know and they will revise and amend (and submit to the Trustee). WTH?
Can anyone else weigh in on this? It certainly doesn't make any sense to me that I would need to amend anything. I've had the 341 and now I wait the 60 days for discharge (hopefully).
I'm just struggling on a lot less money than I had at the time I filed. The job market is horrible and promises to get worse. I have no choice but to try to reduce expenses.
I think the law firm is just looking for ways to charge extra fees.

Greeting A.M. Yes, do nothing. Just get discharged. The game plan.
It isn't going to get better unless you belong to AFLCIO and build GM (Government Motors) cars. Then what taxes you pay will help them live the 'good life'. 'Hub (with an attitude)If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.
