American Express - a little comic relief

Sometimes I just have to laugh at the mail I'm getting now. Got a letter from American Express today letting me know they were cancelling my account due to me filing...this could be negatively reported to credit agencies.....yada, yada, yada. I notice they also included an envelope with the letter that looks like a payment envelope. Sure enough, I look on the back, and it has instructions on the flap like "please include check or money order made out to American Express."

Unbelievable.....apparently, someone must send them money when they do this, or they wouldn't try it...

Got that here too. I would simply turn it over to your attorney in case Amex dinks around with you further, though it would be interesting to see what happens if someone goes after them for a stay violation for the envelope.
