I am preparing for chapter 7, I am tired of waiting and ready to get it over with.
I get student loans and grants to go to school. I also get a VA check (veterans administration) which runs about 920 a month. This is to help pay my school bills and cost of living. I also get a SSDi check which I know is untouchable. Here is my question, since the student loans, and grants are for school and I must repay the loans could the trustee want my refund when I get my loan and grant money that is left over? Should I wait untill I get my refund or will they still want to know where it went since it was only a month before I would end up in court? What about the monthly VA check that comes to me?
