    Credit Report after BK

I finally checked my dismal credit report a month after filing chapter 7.
Is there any difference in the following notations on my account or do they all mean the same thing?

    Petition for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
    Included in bankruptcy
    Discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 7

    Filed 12/28/05 - Completed
    341 Meeting 1/24/06 - Completed
    Discharge 3/27/06 - ZZZZZZZZZ

what do you mean dismissal report? on your credit record?

if all those things are accurate then they can be reported as such.

doesnt mean you cant dispute them if you word it right. see what happens.

in general, the worst case is that they have to show $0 balance. side comment is also that they can show discharged also if its true that it was discahrged before you filed bk. if not then they have to get rid of that comment.

BKF you partied a little too hard yesterday. Dismal as in causing gloom or depression; dreary.

The one that says discharged was the main question because it has not been discharged. I was just wondering why they would say that. That entry is from BoA, I also have another CC with BoA it just says closed 0 balance. No worries, just going to sit back and try to not worry about the next 56 days.

ah yes i see. dismal. sorry.

well the info i gave still stands. they can report each one of those except discharged because you were not discharged yet.

if its wrong you can try to get is removed from your report for reporting incorrect information "i do not have a BofA account that has been discharged" and see what they do. if you get lucky then they remove it.

-petiton means you filed for bk.

-included means you listed it on your forms for bk. same thing really as petition.

-discharged means the court granted it no longer needs to be paid. thats the goal. no idea why they did that. made a mistake somehow.
