    No Discharge Yet :(

Well yesterday was my last day for objections. I was holding out for along time to do some things and I finally did yesterday. Bought a car (2,500) and e-filed my tax return (900). I was feverishly checking pacer and nothing, so I call this morning to inquire. Am told that the judge won't issue a discharge for another 10 days. All this time that I was telling people not to worry, now I'M worried lol. Now I have several thousand in assets and new credit cards all since my 341. This is honestly the most I've ever had in my entire life as everything I've ever had has been taken from me in one way or another. So I guess for the time being I have to just accept that is the way my life goes and that history will unfailingly repeat itself

Know how you feel. Yesterday was my last day for objections also. Checked pacer today and still the same. Imagine it will take a while.

yeah, it may take the courts a bit longer due to the massive number of filings to beat the deadline. Our last day for objections was 1/20.......and pacer didn't show discharge until 1/26. Actual "closing" may take up to a couple of months, rumor has it.................
      Filed: 10/11/05 DONE

Last day for Objections: 1/20/06 DONE
      Discharged: 1/26/06
      CLOSED!! 3/16/06 :yahoo: :D

I am also still waiting. I wonder if location has anything to do with it. I am in California.

          All you folks be PATIENT....

If you made it past discharge date with no problems you are almost Home free and clear....

If there were going to be any objections or problems something would have been filed before the discharge date.

You are probably discharged, it just hasn't been recorded at the courthouse yet due to all the heavy filings.

Also, if the Trustee has asked for your tax refund, or you have an asset case, your case will not be closed until that part of the bankruptcy is also settled.

          Keep us posted.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
