Now, what do I do about the house I "surrendered" but the bank hasn't done anything with? We moved out at the end of May and live out of state. My husband called our former neighbor who says the grass is waist high. No foreclosure on the horizon, either.

Have you called the bank to find out when they plan on taking posession?

I don't know if it's too late but maybe you could do a cash for keys or something? Hopefully someone will have some better advice.

We called the bank yesterday and asked them to secure it, but I don't know if they will. They said they had not been pursuing anything because of the BK. I asked them if they wanted the keys and they said no. I just hate it that the house is just sitting there.
