Authorized signer

If my wife is an authorized user on her dad's CC, how does this work if we file for chapter 7? Does that card get included? Does that card company get notification?

I am an authorized user on my wife's cc and when it was written off and sent to collections if showed up on my credit too. I am going to contact Equifax and dispute it.
