    Afraid to check the mailbox

Filed 10/13. 341 meeting on 12/08. Today Pacer is showing "59 days" under status. I'm afraid to check my mail for the next 2 days. Art

AAAart...I can sure relate to the way you are feeling...after we got our letter from the trustee I didnt want to go to the mailbox either. It was bad enough when you got credit card bills and bank statements showing virtually no money in the bank but the infamous letter put me over the top. I almost passed out when I got the letter from her. However, doesnt mean you will and you only have a few more days...try and keep the faith. We are pulling for you!

It's amazing how something so simple as envelopes in our mail receptacle can cause such anxiety. (don't feel bad, many of us have been there). Hang in there, it'll all come out in the wash.....
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

                        AAAArt,
You may not see "closed" for a few days, you looking for "discharged" right now............

                        Hang in there!!!!

                          Feb.10 - Update
                          Status...Awaiting Discharge
                          Time in Status...63 days

Mental Status...Who cares? Doubt seriously that I will hear anything from the US Trustee. Now it's just a backed up system waiting game.
My ex-wife was a teacher and they wanted to celebrate everyone's B-Day, but some came during the summer when they weren't working. One school came up with the idea of combining "secret pals" w/ an "un-birthday". One day during the year, you'd come to work to find out that today was your "un-birthday" and there was a cake and a present.
That's the attitude I'm going to have to take with my discharge. It will show up on PACER sometime this year...I just don't know when.
When it does, I can take that $.08 a day that I've been blowing on PACER and save up to buy a cake mix and throw myself a party. I'll be my own secret pal. Art

                            AAAArt,
Call the clerk of courts and see if you've been discharged... they can tell you over the phone.....
Probably just waiting to be posted.... especially if your a simple Chapter 7 case...

LOOK AT IT THIS WAY -

I'm 470 days and still "awaiting closing"...............come sit with me and "sweat a while"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this is very very rare, one in a million cases - but it's happening to me............. SO IM BEING VERY PATIENT.....
Trustee has to close the case soon or the Judge will call for another hearing to find out why its not closed....

Believe me when I say - "Your situation could be worse"...

You should call the Court Clerk. What's the worst you will hear. "We don't know."????

                              Holding breath for you Art.
