The Waiting.. Is the hardest Part!!

Is there anything I can do to check on the status of my case WITHOUT using PACER. I don't have any bank accounts and I went to the website and it said they charge!!?? I read another post and someone said to call the Courts?? It is supposed to be 60 days tommorow from my 341 Meeting and I have heard nothing. My husband wanted me to call the trustee/write him but I am sure it is due to the rush of filing before the law changed but I'm not sure, maybe I'm jumping the gun.

Thanks for the help in advance this site is great!!

If tomorrow is the 60th day after the 341 Meeting, THEN call the clerk of courts on Wed afternoon and see if you are discharged..... Before then would be a waste of time and you sure don't want to agitate the clerk... They will check for you and if not posted yet they may go ahead and post it on pacer and tell you your discharged and then soon your papers will arrive.....

    Keep us posted.

PATIENCE, its a long process but well worth it..........

I'm waiting with you nicole. My 60 days was up yesterday (02/12/2006) and I haven't seen any updates on PACER. I'm going to check periodically this week, and if I don't see any new filings, I'm going to call the clerk's office in a few days.

I was told by my atty after our 341 that the discharge should arrive in 3 to 4 months (I'm in Ohio). That's puts me in mid April. I don't want to wait that long. I'm sure if you call the clerk's office, you could possibly get an answer. I'm going to wait a few more days and then I'll call the clerk.

          You're almost there. Good luck.

            Get used to the waiting.
My deadline for objections was 1/30 and STILL nothing on PACER.
I called the clerk and was just told that they were backed up.

I figured it may take a week or so for PACER to show the discharge or anything else. I just didn't think it could take a month or so after the last day for objections.

As long as you keep your balance under 10$ you will never be charged. You don't have to provide account information just to sign up. It takes about a week to get your login information through the mail tho.

When you log-in, then run a query and put in your case #, just look at the first page that comes up. If the last date of filing changes, then you can look at what it is. This page doesn't charge. Otherwise, no need to look at anything else. Remember, it's only $.08 per page and it would take a lot of looking at documents to get it up to $10.

I know the waiting sucks. We all feel your pain and agony and waiting. Me, I can be incedibly impatient sometimes. I want answers now and I want it done now. You know what I mean?
