I understand this more than ever. Have to be in one's shoes in order to understand how they feel when being turned down. Every time I called them to ask for interest reduction, they just said they couldn't and every time they instead of reducing the interest, they reduced the credit line. I remember one time I talked to a BOA rep and he said no, I said with that high interest, I stand more chance of defaulting and might not be able to make the minimum payment and his response was "that's your business." This is the credit card company I've been with since 1997!
