    Discharged--What a Relief!

    Hi All,

Some of you may be familiar with my case. My husband and I filed on Oct. 14th, had our 341 on 12/14, and as of today, we are discharged! Thank you to everyone who helped us get through this mess. I don't know what we would have done if we had not found this forum.

Now that we are discharged, how soon before we are closed? I have heard some posters say that they were discharged and closed the same day. Is there some sort of protocol that is followed? Could it be a week? Two? Longer? What is the typical chain of events?

    Thanks again everyone!

Does it say Discharged on pacer...

I was wondering if it says you are discharged on the pacer,I have been told that even if it is the proposed 60 days that it doesnt necessarily mean you are discharged, not trying to worry you as i am in the same situation it will be 5 hours to go on mine and I still wont believe it till it says that. good luck with your new start

        Yes,

Our 60 days were hit yesterday (Sunday), and today PACER indicated that we have been discharged (at 61 days). Is that a good sign that we will be closed as quickly?

Congrats!!! I know this has been a long, hard road for you. If the trustee never asksed about assets, the close should follow pretty soon after the discharge.

Thanks StaciMM & Everyone else that helped us through this ordeal. We couldn't have done it without you!

Tlk9--Pacer specifically says "Awaiting Closing". I pulled up the paperwork on adobe and it looks like the formal disclosure papers so it's definitely for real. Good luck to you too & keep us posted.

My 60 days was yesterday too. I hope I get my discharge soon as well. My PACER account is up to $8.56..........I've been checking once in the morning and once in the evening............I probably should only check every couple of days now.

Congrats concerned. We're all happy for you.

Bassboy -- you should be able to check without Pacer charging you.... if you look at the header on the first screen once you are into your accoutn. Just check the "date of last filing" area..... and you will now if anything has happened -- that far is free of charge. You might have already known that -- but thought I would mention it incase.

Yes LostinMi, I knew that, but thank you for your reply.

I'm just itching to log-in to PACER to see if anything has happened, but I think I'll give it another couple of days. If I don't see anything by Friday morning, I think I'll just go ahead and call the clerks office Friday afternoon. Is Friday too soon to know anything? Should I wait until next week? Gezz! How much longer will I have to wait?!?!?! I'm starting to get a little cranky because I'm being impatient.
