    New debt after Filing

I signed a contract for advertising for my business about a month after filing. Now I learned that the contract was deceptive..turns out I have to pay more and didnt read the fine print. Can I add this on to my BK. It should have been discharged 9/2, but it hasnt yet. If I can, can I file the amendment myself? I do have an attorney but I dont want to pay him $100 just to add a credit when I can just file that schedule myself.

No. Any debt occurred after filing is yours to pay.

I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

If you can do it yourself, great, but I would rather spend $100 for my lawyer to add this one in. Just my personal thought. It would be more costly to add once you're discharged.
