Why doesnt the trustee have a timetable to close case?

I have been discharged woo hoo ! kind a sick of reading this.... to all on this forum who have typed this (like me) please beware that the fun hasnt even began ,I thought my case was over,boy was I wrong,although some will see their case closed soon after alot of us will not, especially if you have any assets or anything the trustee can take it all begins now,the party has only started for the trustee,I just dont understand why he doesnt have a timetable to decide what he is going to do like everyone else,I mean he can just go on and on without no regards for someone wanting to get this over with,How can he just let a case linger for months or in some cases years,it makes no sense to me unless there was a valid reason,I know they usually give you an idea as to what might happen that still is only a guess,so please people understand that discharge does not mean you are done(BY NO MEANS) I just want people to be aware that the end is closing NOT DISCHARGED.I am at fear of losing my house because I need closure to sell an exempt asset and I dont care what he wants he can have it,all i want is closure so i can sell my asset and pay my bills and move on,by him taking his time doing so is making me a nervous wreck .

know what you mean, this is my 30th day of waiting for closing since discharge................no asset case, no contact or word from trustee, no nothing.............pacer just says "awaiting closing" driving me nanners !!!

I know how you feel, and I have been hearing the frustration in your "voice"--
I hate waiting on someone else and having no control when my fate is in their hands. I haven't been through exactly what you have but I do know how it feels to wait on the trustee for something else and its not fun.. hang in there! I feel bad for you and any others who are playing the waiting game.
