Are there any forms or schedules that when resubmitted/amended will change the commencement date?

By commencement are you referring to filing date or perhaps automatic stay start date? Neither is affected by filing any amendments, your filing date triggers the automatic stay and nothing will modify that. You may, during the course of your bk, have to file forms that may extend the duration of your case, thus also the duration of the automatic stay.Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10

Yes please clarify what you mean. Do you wish to extend without discharge your automatic stay? Most want it over soon. Ours was automatically extended to 90 when we became an asset case. Sorry acro, the comencment date is set in stone....lots of other BK events have more flexible timelines but not date of filing...

OK, the only way to change the filing date is withdrawl and refile. We will continue with correcting the current petition. The 341 is scheduled for 11/24/10.Comment
