    Federal Exemption Schedule C - Law

    Hi - Newbie here -- filing Pro Se - What do you put on the Chapter 7 Schedule C form under "Specify Law" for federal exemptions - i.e. Federal wildcard exemption - would it be - 11 USC ยง 522(d)(5) ?

    Are you filing in Florida? You can't use federal exemptions in Fla, they have their own set of exemptions you have to use.

      Filing in Florida - been residence for 8 months - lived in New Jersey for 13 years prior - so I must use the NJ exemptions which allows me to use Federal exemptions if I choose...
