Case Discharged -- When will I start receiving bills again?

My case was discharged almost a month ago. When my mortgage company and auto finance company automatically start billing me? I have kept up payments with copies of old bill..... but wondering when I will get a new bill. Should I call them and ask to start billing me again or just wait??

You can call them and have your statements sent again as you case is over.

I was wondering the same thing with my auto loan with BoA. I've been discharged since 1/26, but no new bills yet. I have to keep reminding myself that the car note is due on the 14th...........DON'T FORGET. lol.

We reaffirmed our 1st mortgage and have been getting statements no problem. The 2nd mortgage we did not, and I had to ask them in writing to start sending statements again. My car loan, also not reaffirmed, they refuse to send me a new coupon book no matter what. It's a huge aggravation, but I guess everyone has their own policy.

I guess I will be giving them a call then to find out what they need to start the bills. Thanks for the advice!!

If you have online bill pay w/ your bank, you can probably have your OBP send you a reminder at a certain time every month to make that payment.

Well, called mortgage company and they updated their records and will start sending bills again (loan reaffirmed). GMAC, on the other hand, said they cannot legally send bills again EVER because the debt was discharged (did not reaffirm).... so I will have to continue copying an old bill and sending in that with payment for the next 17 months!!!
