Sounds like it is all working out for you...whew!
I know that here in Colo parts of the tax refund are exempt, any EIC and childcare credit (if I remember right)....maybe same sort of thing in your state?
And don't let them take more than the pro-rated amount of your refund, you filed in Sept so they only get 9/12ths of it...
Oh well, glad it is not as bad as it could have been; there is an old farmers saying..."Not as much as I hoped for but more than I expected"
