Credit Card Company sent me new card

One of the credit card companies I discharged in My Chapter 7, Household Bank, sent me a new Credit Card application with a $300 limit. I applied, and they sent me my new card. I remember someone a while back saying that if you apply for a new card with a creditor that was discharged from your BK case, they can legally reaffirm the debt after your case is closed and come after you for the past due debt? I've read throught the fine print both on my old credit card application, and the new application, and nothing pertaining to this matter is in writing.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

You should be fine. I've heard that also, don't know if there were any specific creditors mentioned. It might be an urban legend, but even if it is its just one more reason to read EVERYTHING on the agreement.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Yeah. They obviously can't cover your old debts with a $300 limit anyways lol
