If I do a Ch & can I keep some money

I am talking about 300 dollars ,and my income taxes money.I still have to by food,gas place to stay money

Hi ulita,

food, gas, place to stay...all legit expenses, spend your money here.

In NJ you can use either state or federal exemptions. The federal exemptions include a "wildcard" that can be used to exempt your tax refund, cash on hand, whatever, ...if your "place to stay" means you don't have a house you are trying to keep...the wildcard can be over 10 grand.
