    Pacer

I read the sticky. My thanks to the author.

I'm a little nervous to set up an account. I filed in February and my 341 was Monday, a no asset case.

Can they tell I am looking?

    Why did/do YOU use Pacer?

    Thanks!

No, they can't tell who looked at your files. It is public information for anyone to see. I signed up to the pacer because I wanted to know what is going on because I know my lawyer only cares about getting paid. I finally got my discharge letter today but I found out about it 5 days ago. It is good to keep an eye on pacer in case there is some missing paperwork your greedy lawyer forgot to file (happened to me).

it took 2 weeks after the 341 meeting for the trustee to file his report of no distribution and 95 days after came the discharge.
Pre filling credit score: Trans 554, Expe 555, Equi 511
5 days after discharge Trans 598, Expe 569, Equi 598
4 mo after discharge Trans 691, Expe 678, Equi 703

      Thank you.

So, I signed up and got my user name and password. I understand FULLY the idea of case sensitive and I still cannot gain access. It keeps telling me I am entering invalid info and to check my case sensitivity. I deleted the cookie as the website suggested and restarted my browser before trying again. I also ried both in Firefx AND Internet Explorer. Anyone have any ideas?

      Thanks!

Did you check the sticky at the top of
        the General Bankruptcy Folder?---it's
entitled The Ultimate Pacer Guide---very helpful.

Yes, I had that up in another screen and was following it to the letter. I'm about to try again.

It took my lawyer 13 months to let me know I was closed. 'Hub

When I received my paper work for the date/time of the 341, it recommended to sign up for Pacer, so you are not doing anything wrong. Our case was full of hurdles and I knew what was coming through Pacer before my attorney did, so it helped me.

When I first set up my Pacer account, it wouldn't work either, I ended up having to call them and a short time after that, I was able to get onto the site.
Filed Ch 7: 11/2010 and 03/2011 and closed
