How long after you file for chapter 7 bankruptcy do you have your 341 creditors meeting?

My attorney told me just yesterday that its about 35 days, but I think it depends on your state and district. You will be notified when a date is set.Chapter 7 Filed: 04/21/2011, 341 Meeting: 05/31/2011, Report of No Distrubution: 06/02/2011, Discharged: 08/03/2011, Closed: 08/10/11 -
Mine was approx 30 days and both the attorney and the court sent me a notice of the date and time.Comment

our 341 was 6 weeks from date of filing. During the 341 meeting all filers that were continued by the Trustee was rescheduled 6 weeks out. I guess its a testament to the many people that are filing these days.Comment

About six weeks for me as well. Filed 3/25/2011. 341 meeting is scheduled for 5/10/2011.Comment

For most, it appears to be within 30 days.
